Trash on fire – rear of Clayton Courts, 8:42 p.m. Three units with 61 men in service for 4 hours.  Railroad ties on fire. Officer in charge: Lt. Mike Lucas.

August 15

Traffic accident – 300 block of Hilyard Road, 8:15 p.m. Three units in service for 44 minutes. Five people transported to Kent General Hospital. Assisted by Kent Paramedics, Cheswold Ambulance, Hartly Ambulance, Trooper 4. Officer in charge: Lt. Mike Lucas.

Assist Cheswold Fire Company on building fire – 1800 block of  Lynnbury Woods Road, 11:02 a.m. Two units with 34 men in service for 15 minutes. No services. Officer in charge: Capt. John Pase.

August 17

Smoke investigation – 700 block of Hopewell Drive, 12:48 a.m. Four units with 42 men in service for 43 minutes. Assisted by Hartly Fire Company. Officer in charge: Asst. Chief Jeff Lightcap.

Cars on fire – Vandyke-Greenspring Road east of Blackbird Forest Road, 1:31 a.m. Five units with 41 men in service for 1 hour 39 minutes. Two vehicles set on fire in wooded area by Blackbird Forest. Assisted by Delaware State Police, State Fire Marshal. Officer in charge: Asst. Chief Jeff Lightcap.

Assist Milllington Fire Company on field fire – 10000 block of Peacocks Corner Road, 1:39 p.m. One unit in service for 40 minutes. Officer in charge: Capt. John Pase.

Barn fire – 1100 block of Vandyke-Greenspring Road, 8:42 p.m. Five units with 44 men in service for 35 minutes. Assisted by Townsend Fire Company. Good intent call. Officer in charge: Asst. Chief Jeff Lightcap.

August 19

Stand by for Hartly Fire Company – 1:15 p.m. One unit with 22 men in service for 1 hour 54 minutes. Officer in charge: Capt. Dave Ross.

CPR of child – 200 block of Blackiston Road, 4:15 p.m. One unit with 23 men in service for 47 minutes. Assisted by American Legion Ambulance 64, Kent County Medics. Officer in charge: Asst. Chief Jeff Lightcap.

Traffic accident – Millington and Blackiston roads, 6:19 p.m. Four units with 36 men in service for 1 hour 18 minutes. One subject injured and transported to Kent General Hospital. Assisted by American Legion Ambulance 64, Kent County Medic 5, DelDOT. Officer in charge: Chief Wes Davis.

August 21

Carbon monoxide alarm – Sammon Drive, 6:01 p.m. Three units with 30 men in service for 23 minutes. Assisted by American Legion Ambulance 64. Officer in charge: Chief Wes Davis.
