A robber with a handgun held up Manor Pharmacy in New Castle on Monday night, demanding only Oxycontin pills.

The robbery happened at about 7 p.m., at the store at 1412 N. DuPont Highway.

State Police said a man entered the store and put on a ski mask. He approached the rear pharmacy counter and displayed a handgun.

He demanded the narcotic Oxycontin, and the staff complied. The suspect then fled the store and drove off in an older model foreign car.

The suspect was described as a white man, 25 to 30 years old, 6’ tall, with a dark ski mask, t-shirt and blue jeans.
