Clayton Town Council has voted to limit parking for two spaces on Main Street and has approved a business license for "Fitness Made Fun."
Parking change approved
At its Sept. 13 meeting, Clayton Town Council voted to limit parking for two spaces on Main Street.
Two spaces in front of the The Young Bean coffee shop at the former town hall building will be changed to 1-hour parking from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The business previously sent council a letter requesting the change.
Business license approved
In other action, council voted to approve a business license for “Fitness Made Fun” at St. Joseph’s Center for Community Service.
Budget meeting scheduled
It was also announced that members of council will discuss the town’s budget in a committee meeting at 6:45 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 11, prior to the council meeting scheduled for that night.
“We’re going to get cracking on this early,” said Mayor Tom Horn.
Planning and Zoning to meet tonight
Clayton’s Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. tonight, Sept. 22, to consider a requested deviation from the town’s open space requirement for the planned Ovations development off of Clayton-Greenspring Road.
