On Homecoming night, Oct. 8, the Smyrna High School & Middle School FFA Chapters will be holding their Annual Homecoming Chicken BBQ Dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the SHS cafeteria.

The chapters are selling a total of 300 dinner tickets, which can be purchased in advance at a cost of $8 from any FFA officer or advisor as well as at the door on a first come, first serve basis.

Everyone who purchases a ticket can either dine in or carry out an order that includes: a quarter barbeque chicken, choice of two sides (baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad), roll & butter, beverage, and dessert. The evenings’ dinner will be served by both the officers and advisors of the high school and middle school FFA programs.

All of the proceeds from this event will be used to help offset the costs of members attending the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis from Oct. 19-23.

For further details or to reserve your tickets, contact the Smyrna High School Agri-Science office at 653-3148 during school hours.
