The Smyrna woman who had not been seen or heard from by her family since Sept. 18 has been located in Virginia and is OK, Smyrna Police said Thursday in a report at 11:20 a.m. Smyrna Police had issued a missing person report for Nora Gibson, 44, on Wednesday.

ORIGINAL REPORT: The Smyrna Police Department is attempting to locate Nora Gibson. She has not been seen or heard from since Sept. 18.

She is a 44-year-old black female, 5'6" tall, and about 189 pounds with a light complexion.

Gibson resides on Kent Way, Smyrna.

She drives a 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier, light blue, with Delaware license plate 469628.

Her father told police that her recent disappearance is unusual. Her disappearance is considered to be voluntary. She may be upset over financial matters.
