The Smyrna Opera House is sponsoring Halloween events for the entire family on Oct. 29 and 30.

‘Monster House’

Kick-off the weekend by watching a free movie, “Monster House,” rated PG, in the historic Smyrna Opera House auditorium on Friday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.
In this animated movie, DJ and his friend Chowder have their suspicions regarding a creaky old house across the street and the cranky old man who lives there. When the old man has an apparent heart attack and is carried away, they think the dangers are over but the thrills are really just about to begin. Come see the movie…if you dare!
Although the movie is free, reservations are required by calling the box office, 653-4236, or by stopping by the box office Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The night of the show, the box office will open at 6 p.m., and the auditorium will open at 6:30 p.m.
Donations are welcome.
Snacks will be on sale.
