  • In a true group effort, the community will come together at the Smyrna/Clayton Relay for Life kickoff party at Smyrna High School, 500 Duck Creek Parkway, Smyrna, on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 1 p.m. Learn how you can become a part of the first Relay for Life of Smyrna/Clayton to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.
The party will serve as a pep rally for the event and provide more information to team captains who will play an important role in fundraising efforts. There will be food, games and door prizes, as well as the opportunity to hear inspiring stories and learn more about Relay for Life and how the community can help fight cancer.
Each Relay for Life is driven by volunteers from the community who come together to fight cancer, celebrate the lives of those who have successfully battled cancer, and remember the loved ones who have been lost to the disease. Nationwide, Relay for Life events have raised an estimated $3 billion for the American Cancer Society and cancer research.
Smyrna/Clayton Relay for Life will be held May 18-19 at Smyrna High School.
