Hits like Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite” and Jason Aldine’s “My Kind of Party” will be fair game for a sing-a-long when The Celtic Pub celebrates their one-year anniversary tonight.
Led by DJ Chris Birch, a regular who deejays at The Celtic Pub, the event will feature karaoke and dance tunes from an array of artists including Cee Lo Green, Adele, Lady Antebellum and Jason Aldine.

Birch also keeps a list of throwback jams in his repertoire like Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder’s “Ebony and Ivory,” Frankie Beverley And Maze’s “Joy and Pain,” and Alanis Morissette’s “You Oughta Know.”
He says the ever-enduring ‘80s tunes in his playlist are a great way “to get the non-singers up to dance.”
To ensure he’s enjoying himself as much as the folks on the dance floor, or those participating in karaoke, Birch says he places himself in the role of a spectator. And he loves it.
“There are different talent levels of people who sing – some are funny, one way or another,” he said.
“I’m there for them to entertain me. And I’m not the next karaoke idol of Delaware. I’m just a guy out there hoping that everyone has a good time.”
