James Henry Sinclair of Dover went home to be with the Lord on April 6, 2012. He was 84.
Mr. Sinclair was born November 28, 1927 in Easton, Maryland, son of the late Lloyd and Grace Royer Sinclair. He graduated from Ridgely High School and later proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
Jim met his wife Addie Margaret in the choir of Minquadale United Methodist Church, where they were later married.
Mr. Sinclair retired after 34 years as an equipment operator from Delmarva Power and Light. He enjoyed his retirement camping and attending gospel concerts.
Over the years he was an active member of Red Lion U.M. Church and Smyrna Wesleyan Church. He will be fondly remembered by his church families and friends for his poetry and love of music.
Mr. Sinclair was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Addie Margaret Sinclair on July 5, 2011 and his two brothers, William Sinclair and Edwin Sinclair.
He is survived by two sons, James E. Sinclair of Milford, and Dennis Sinclair of
Felton; three daughters, Barbara Bennett of Milford, Debbie Cobourn of Dover, and Cindy Pangburn of Clayton; a sister, Joyce Schlingloff of Eugene Oregon; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, April 12 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave, Wyoming, DE. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Ridgely Cemetery, Ridgely, MD.
