  • Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge near Smyrna is hosting a "Spring Wildflower Walk" on Thursday, May 3 from 1-3 p.m., at the refuge, 2591 Whitehall Neck Road, off of Route 9, about five miles southeast of Smyrna.

  • Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge near Smyrna is hosting a "Spring Wildflower Walk" on Thursday, May 3 from 1-3 p.m., at the refuge, 2591 Whitehall Neck Road, off of Route 9, about five miles southeast of Smyrna.
    Enjoy a walking tour with Dr. Susan Yost, Delaware State University’s Claude E. Phillips Herbarium, to see spring wildflowers native to Bombay Hook and the region.
    Meet at the Visitor Center.
    Bombay Hook is celebrating its 75 anniversary throughout 2012 with children’s programs, live animals, workshops, presentations, and tours of the refuge.
