Chris Bennett, a natural resource management specialist, will lead a free workshop at the Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge about the herons and egrets that are commonly seen during the summer.

The workshop will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4 at the Refuge's auditorium, 2591 Whitehall Neck Road, Smyrna.

Bennett’s program is one of a series of events planned for 2012 as part of the celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Bombay Hook’s establishment.
