On August 3, 2012, Maola Pressley passed away at the age of 83 at her home in Smyrna, DE.
She was born on June 30, 1929 in Roswell, NM, the daughter of the late Albert and Alline Bailey of Hagerman, NM.
She retired from the Smyrna Home and Hospital after a long career. Her late husband, Master Sgt. Wallace E. Pressley, passed away in the summer of 1988, and she missed him dearly.
She was surrounded by her loving daughters, Brenda Ann Pressley and Belinda Stiltner who took care of her throughout all of her health issues. Also at the time of her passing were her loving grandchildren, Wallace E. Pressley III, Karen Dotson, and her loving sister-in-law Ramona Pressley.
She is also survived by her four sons and their wives: Wallace and Deborah Pressley of Magnolia, Kenneth and Robin Pressley of Leipsic, Allen and Lisa Pressley of Smyrna, and William and Brenda Pressley of Smyrna. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Her last wishes were to have the services at Faries Funeral Home located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna, which will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 7 p.m., with a viewing from 5-7 p.m., with the loving Pastor of Asbury Church, and to be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery with her loving husband at a later date.
