  • The 14th Senate District has two candidates running in this year’s election with Republican challenger Scott Unruh running against Democratic incumbent Sen. Bruce Ennis.
    The district spans from Smyrna up to Middletown. The polling locations for the 14th Senate District fall under several sub-districts in the 8th, 9th, 11th, 28th, and 29th Representative Districts.
    Polling locations for Kent County residents are as follows:
    Residents voting in the following 28th Representative sub-districts will also vote for Senate District 14:
    • 01-28: Smyrna Middle School
    • 02-28: Levin Center on Main Street in Smyrna
    • 03-28 and 06-28: Citizens’ Hose Company
    • 05-28: Sunnyside Elementary
    • 07-28 and 08-28: Leipsic Fire Hall
    Residents voting in the following 29th Representative sub-district will also vote for Senate District 14:
    • 09-29: Clayton Fire Hall
