  • The Smyrna Middle School PTO is running a school-wide fundraiser to benefit the students in the form of field trips, rewards for positive student behavior and team activities. The fundraiser started Sept. 12 and will continue until Wednesday, Sept. 26. Students will be offering a variety of items such as gift-wrap, unique kitchen gadgets, magazine subscriptions, gummi worms, calendars, photo frames, and more.
Based on the students' sales they can win prizes ranging from cash prizes for the top three sellers, in-school movie and popcorn, a McDonald's limo ride, and an iTunes gift card. The goal is for each child to sell 21 or more items. SMS students got a glance of the possible prizes Sept. 12 as Phil Blackman, a contractor with P & B Fundraising, discussed the fundraiser with students in an assembly. Blackman is pictured here with some of the prizes.
