  • Attempted break-in at Smyrna strip club

  • The Delaware State Police are asking the public's assistance in attempting to identify a subject who attempted to break into a Smyrna business.
    The incident occurred at approximately 3:25 a.m. Oct. 15 as a black male subject was captured on surveillance cameras attempting to break into Fairways Inn located on South DuPont Boulevard south of Smyrna. The suspect reportedly climbed onto the second floor roof and attempted to gain entry through a window without success and then fled the area to the north.
    The suspect is said to be 22 to 32-years-old, 5'10" to 6'3" tall, 170 to 200 lbs., and is seen wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black pants, wire rim glasses, and sneakers in the surveillance photos.
