Kent County Levy Court Commissioner Jody Sweeney and Kent County Comptroller Georgette Williams, both Democrats, won re-election to their respective seats during Tuesday's general election.
In addition, Kent County Levy Court Commissioner Allan Angel, a Democrat, was unopposed in his bid for re-election.
Sweeney defeated Republican Kevin McCarthy and Libertarian Andrew Cronk with 54.2 percent of the vote, according to unofficial results posted by the Delaware Department of Elections for Kent County. Sweeney received 5,168 votes, McCarthy garnered 4,152 votes and Cronk managed to secure just 230 votes.
Williams defeated Republican Pat Boyle with 52.7 percent of the vote, according to state tallies. She received 32,278 votes while Boyle received 27,660 votes.
Angel, meanwhile, received 6,629 votes in the uncontested race.
