  • Emergency relief caravan from Delaware brought welcome aid to New Yorkers on Nov. 7.
    Large amounts of food, clothing, sleeping bags and blankets, and devotional items were collected at St. Polycarp in Smyrna and in various places in Wilmington. Another truck will head north before Thanksgiving. Food, clothing (especially gloves), diapers and baby wipes, blankets and sleeping bags, batteries, bleach and rubber gloves, and paper towels and Windex are items needed.
    Donations may be brought to Mother Drexel Hall through Nov. 18. For more information, call (302) 650-7707.
