The award-winning Cathedral Choir School of Delaware, under the direction of Eugene Lavery, will be presenting a holiday concert to celebrate the Christmas season. Come out and hear the professional choir of adults and children perform a variety of favorite sacred and secular carols. This concert is sure to spark your holiday spirit!
"The choir does amazing work with disadvantaged children living in Wilmington exposing them to musical experiences that they might not otherwise receive," said Smyrna Opera House Executive Director David Keller. "I toured the facility firsthand and was able to spend time with several of the students who shared their touching stories of how much the after-school educational program means to them."
This concert helps support the endeavors of the Cathedral Choir.
"I also would like to extend a personal thank you to the Kent County Fund for the Arts for partially underwriting this special performance," said Keller.
