  • Crossfit First State, 118 Sleepy Hollow Drive, Middletown, held its first Member-Guest Challenge on Dec. 1.
    More than 20 teams participated with each consisting of one CFFS athlete and one guest. Members brought spouses, friends, sisters, brothers, neighbors and more. The workout was broken down into three stations, each lasting six minutes.
    Partners worked together tagging each other as they completed the set amount of reps at each station. Seven hundred dollars will go to the Ed Dean Memorial Scholarship Fund, which was created in memory of CFFS, coach Jud Deans.
