  • Clayton Fire Company defeated Dover Fire Department 69-22 in a flag football game Saturday at Smyrna High that doubled as a benefit for the U.S. Marines' Toys for Tots Program.
    The price of admission was one new, unwrapped toy for a child up to 12 years old. Cash donations were also accepted for the Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund to assist firefighters in New York and New Jersey who were victims of Hurricane Sandy.
    Clayton Fire Company would like to thank their sponsors/supporters: Smyrna School District for use of the stadium, the SHS band, D by D Printing, Procter & Gamble, RWM Embroidery, and Capt. Larry Duhadaway.
