Owner and educator Dr. Chad Laurence is in private family practice at Corrective Chiropractic in Hockessin. After earning his doctorate from Life University of Chiropractic in Marietta, Ga., Dr. Laurence began practicing chiropractic in 2000. Before his chiropractic studies, Dr. Laurence received a BS degree in Microbiology from Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Laurence is one of only two doctors in Delaware who is certified in Chiropractic Biophysics, and is a Distinguished Fellow of the CBP technique. With a focus on chiropractic, structural spinal correction, nutrition, education, specific training, and massage therapy, Dr. Laurence is able to relieve symptoms for individuals suffering with physical problems, including neck and low back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, headaches, arthritis, and intestinal difficulties. His approach is also particularly successful at helping children with chronic ear infections, asthma, allergies, ADD/ADHD, bed-wetting issues, colic and immune system disorders. Dr. Laurence is an experienced presenter who has been invited to speak in a variety of venues. He has published articles in regional health publications and area newspapers. Dr. Laurence and Corrective Chiropractic have been voted “Best Chiropractor in Delaware” by readers of several local newspapers. A year after getting snubbed, Homeland nabbed three Screen Actors Guild Awards nominations Wednesday, including drama ensemble.

The Showtime drama's cast will be up against two-time defending champ Boardwalk Empire, Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey and Mad Men.

Leads Claire Danes and Damian Lewis earned nods in their respective categories. Danes will be up against defending champ Jessica Lange (American Horror Story: Asylum), Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey) former champ Julianna Margulies (The Good Wife) and Maggie Smith (Downton Abbey).

Lewis will try to dethrone two-time reigning champ Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire) and beat out Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Jeff Daniels (The Newsroom) and Jon Hamm (Mad Men)

In comedy, Alec Baldwin (30 Rock) will gun for an unprecedented seven-peat (yes, seven) in comedy actor against Ty Burrell (Modern Family), Louis C.K. (Louie), Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory) and Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family).

Betty White (Hot in Cleveland) will go for a three-peat in comedy actress against Edie Falco, (Nurse Jackie), three-time champ Tina Fey (30 Rock), Amy Poehler (Parks and Recreation) and Sofia Vergara (Modern Family).

Two-time defending champ Modern Family will vie for comedy ensemble honors versus The Big Bang Theory, Nurse Jackie, Glee, The Office and 30 Rock.

In film, Silver Linings Playbook and Lincoln each scored four nominations, including in ensemble, where they will face off against Argo, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel and Les Miserables.

The 19th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will air live Sunday, Jan. 27 at 8/7c on TNT and TBS.
