For every person that took a short test drive at the event, Willis Ford and Ford Motor Company donated $20 to the boosters. Roughly 90 drivers participated in the fundraiser, said Willis Ford sales manager Rodney Peck.
"This year eligible drivers earned $1,660 just for participating in the event," Peck said.
This is the third year Willis Ford has run the event at the high school, raising almost $4,000 for the school. Smyrna High athletic director Bill Schultz said the event has already been scheduled for next year.
"The Drive One 4 UR School campaign has been such as success, we have already schedule next year's event on opening day at the football stadium," Schultz said.
