Dorothy "Honey" Letty Collins of Dover, DE, passed away at Courtland Manor Nursing Home in Dover on Saturday, January 19, 2013.
She was 86.
Mrs. Collins was born February 21, 1926 in Frederica, DE, the daughter of the late Watson and Dorothy Green.
She worked as a Waitress for many years until her retirement.
Honey enjoyed crocheting and reading. She was also an avid NASCAR fan, especially Jeff Gordon. Most of all, She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles David Wagaman, and her second husband, Oscar L. Collins; her son, David L. Wagaman; her grandson, Ray Herrera; and two sisters, Ina and Clara.
She is survived by her four daughters, Mary Jane Mason and her husband Don of Circleville, OH, Vivian Frazier and her companion Leslie Barnette of Kenansville, NC, Charlene Marie Cole and her companion Kenneth Bradley of Smyrna, DE, and Donna Kay Herrera and her husband Ray of Dover, DE; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Buddy and Dick; and four sisters, Beatrice, Edna, Effie, and Ginger.
A viewing for family and friends will be held Wednesday evening, January 23, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. in Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Smyrna.
