  • Smyrna Police issue sex offender advisory

  • The Smyrna Police Department has issued a Megan's Law community advisory for a man who has registered his place of work within the Town of Smyrna.
    This is a community advisory; the man is not wanted.
    Jermaine A. Colbert, a tier 2 sex offender, registered his place of work on Jimmy Drive. He is considered a moderate risk sex offender.
    Colbert, 31, was convicted in 2008 of rape fourth degree and sexual penetration where the victim is under 16 years old or without consent. The victim was between the ages of 12 and 15.
