  • The Smyrna-Clayton July 4th Association is sponsoring the Sherwood Amusements Carnival at Willis Chevrolet-Buick, just south of Smyrna on Route 13, from Monday, April 8 through Saturday, April 13.
Carnival hours will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 6 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Unlimited ride bracelets will be available at the ticket booth Monday through Thursday. Discount coupons for the bracelets will be available at many Smyrna and Clayton merchants. Individual ride tickets may also be purchased at the ticket booth at the carnival.
Proceeds from the sale of carnival tickets will help raise funds for the Smyrna-Clayton Fourth of July parade, festivities, and fireworks.
The Smyrna-Clayton July 4th Association is an independent group organized to provide the community with a day-long celebration of American independence. Anyone wishing to help the committee may call Joanne Masten at 653-6235 or Bob Merrill at 653-6809.
