The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) has announced that work has been scheduled on Monday, May 13 at the intersection of Wheatley's Pond Road (Route 300) and Carter Road.
The project, weather permitting, involves the new the traffic light at the intersection.
Intermittent lane restrictions will occur at the intersection during the project.
At first, the new traffic signal will be activated to a flashing signal only.
The signal will be converted to full "red-yellow-green" stop-and-go operation on Thursday, May 16, weather permitting. The rain date is Friday, May 17.
