  • Dr. Victor E. Epps, 60, died October 7, 2013, after a short battle with cancer. Born in Kansas City, Mo., Victor graduated from Park Hill High School, where he played football all four years. He graduated from Missouri Valley College where he was part of the National Championship football team and inducted into the football hall of fame. Victor married his college sweetheart, Cheryl Warren of Woodside, De, in 1975 while attending chiropractic school. He proudly graduated in 1980 from Palmer College of Chiropractic and moved to Delaware where he founded Dover Health Care Center in 1982. During his time in practice, he cared greatly for his patients and made it his life goal to better the lives of those he met. Victor was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Dover. Victor lived his life passionately and fully. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister. Victor is survived by his wife, children, Rachael, Megan and Adam, grandson, Carson, sister, Celestine and many nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly. Victor has made an everlasting impression in the lives of those who knew him and will be forever remembered. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming on Thursday, October 10 at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dr. Victor Epps Memorial Fund c/o CNB Bank, 263 Walmart Dr, Camden, De 19934.
