  • Dreams Take Flight 5K Run, Walk & Roll benefit for cerebral palsy foundation in Smyrna Nov. 16

  • A benefit 5K for the Krysti Bingham Cerebral Palsy Foundation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16 at George C. Wright Municipal Park (formerly Smyrna Municipal Park) on North Main Street. The mission of the foundation is to improve and enhance the quality of life for the disabled people and their families.

  • A benefit 5K for the Krysti Bingham Cerebral Palsy Foundation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16 at George C. Wright Municipal Park (formerly Smyrna Municipal Park) on North Main Street, Smyrna. The mission of the foundation is to improve and enhance the quality of life for the disabled people and their families.
    The Dreams Take Flight 5K Run, Walk & Roll starts at 9 a.m. Quality "Dreams Take Flight 5K" t-shirts will be given to all participants and volunteers. Post-race festivities include free food and beverages.
    Awards will be presented for top male and female runners in age groups from 10 & under to 70 & over, along with the top three male and female walkers overall, and ribbons to all Healthy Kids Run finishers. Special awards will be presented for roll (wheelchair) participants.
    Registration is $20 for early participants online at TriSportsEvents.com. Registration is $25 after Nov. 9 and on day of event. This is a Team TriSports Championship Series event.
    After the race, the Fall Festival fundraiser for the Krysti Bingham Cerebral Palsy Foundation will be held in the park. For more information, call Kat Augustine at (302) 387-2226.
