  • Starting high school can be a nerve-racking experience for some freshmen students. To help the transition is the Smyrna High School Link Crew.
The main goal of the Link Crew is to enable first-year students to succeed in high school and help them build positive relationships between upper and lower classmen.
"The first-year students of the school should have a better outlook on their education and will be more successful," said Link Crew leader Mr. Haller. "The thing that I love the most about the program is that it is a win-win situation for everyone involved. Upperclassmen are given an experience to lead and underclassmen are helped."
In order to participate in the Link Crew, you must be recommended by a teacher or request to participate.
The leaders meet once a month and after that, the leaders meet up with their students once a month.
If you would like to join the Link Crew, please contact any of the following Link Crew leaders: Taylor Price, Glenda Delgado, Beryl Nyamburi, Kelly Handlin, Jake Harrison, Dustin Bergeron, Chase Whalley, Daniel Gott, Alexis Harrison, Skyler Meyers, Gabe Mojica, Jade Rider, Julie Merkel, Caleb Wolf, Landon Doff, Kaeleigh Snedeker, Brittany Dirks, Rachael Williams, Amanda French, Morgan Gosch, Lizzie Birney, Sydney Burgess and Allison Hubert.
