  • Dover Police, working in cooperation with two Pennsylvania law enforcement agencies, have arrested a local man in a child sex case.
Paul Gavin Britton, of the 100 block of Stoney Drive, Dover, was apprehended Jan. 10 in a Harrington hotel, said police spokesman Cpl. Mark Hoffman.
Britton is suspected of having sexual relations with a 14-year-old boy, Hoffman said. He was caught in cooperation with the Norristown, Pa., Police Department and the Montgomery County, Pa., District Attorney's Office.
Britton was charged at Justice of the Peace Court 7, Dover, and later released from custody after posting a $10,000 secured bond.
Britton will fight his extradition back to Pennsylvania, Hoffman said.
