Delaware State University is accepting applications for the Science and Technology Academy for Residence Scholars program.

STARS is a four-week residential enrichment program on the DSU campus for 10th-12th grade high school students that is scheduled to take place from July 6-Aug. 2.

The main objectives of the STARS program are: To increase science and mathematics-related knowledge, skills and confidence in a group of high school students; to increase the participants' interest in and engagement with mathematics, science and technology; to increase the student's familiarity with the large variety of careers in science.

The cost of the program is $2,000 per student, which will include all classroom activities, residential room, cafeteria meals and field trips.

Applications will be accepted until March 14.
