SEASON OUTLOOK The lacrosse team is coming off a successful season in which they made their first state tournament appearance. After losing nearly half the team to graduation last year, a new crop of player’s hope to continue that success. Coach Mike Judy said the young team is full of athletic, focused players who are excited to bring the team to the level needed to compete in the Henlopen Conference. The strengths of the team are work ethic, synergy among the players, and athleticism. The biggest weakness is the team’s youth. Judy hopes the team’s leadership will help ease the growing pains and allow the Eagles to have a great season.
COACH’S QUOTE “There is now an expectation within our program to succeed; the formula for success has been honed to the point where our players leave the field each day having to answer one question: ‘Did we get better today?’ If they gave everything they had in school, practice, and in the community then we will succeed. Anything less than their very best is unacceptable and they must answer to their brothers on this team.” – Head Coach Mike Judy on coming off the success of last year’s team
