  • The Sherwood Amusements Carnival, sponsored by the Smyrna-Clayton July 4th Association, will be staying in Smyrna for a second week, at Willis Chevrolet-Buick on Route 13 just south of Smyrna.
The hours will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday, April 21 through Friday, April 25 and from 2 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, April 26.
"We've had a great turnout this week," said Joanne Masten, president of the July 4th Association. "The carnival owner, Roger Watkins, was willing to stay another week, and Bill Willis and Willis Chevrolet Buick were generous enough to allow the use of their property again. We really appreciate it."
The carnival was originally scheduled to be in Smyrna until April 20, but now the last day will be April 26.
    SPECIAL DISCOUNT NIGHTS
Military personnel (active, retired, National Guard and Reserves) and employees of Bayhealth and Christiana Care will receive a discount on unlimited ride bracelets for their families on April 21 and 22 with identification.
