The Nonpoint Source Program in DNREC's Division of Watershed Stewardship announced two additional dates for Delaware residents to purchase remaining rain barrels at a discounted price.

The Nonpoint Source Program in DNREC’s Division of Watershed Stewardship announced two additional dates for Delaware residents to purchase remaining rain barrels at a discounted price.

The 50 to 55-gallon barrels are made from 25 to 35 percent recycled content and are used to capture and store rainwater for later use. They will be sold for $57.88 each while supplies last. Payments can be made by check or money order to the "State of Delaware."

Barrels will be available in New Castle County from 3 to 6 p.m. May 14 at the New Castle Conservation District office maintenance yard, 2430 Old County Road, Newark and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 9 in Sussex County at the DNREC’s Division of Watershed Stewardship Lewes Facility, 901 Pilottown Road, Lewes.
