A favorite from many shows at the beaches, the band plays a variety of Top 40 hits, rock, rhythm and blues, hip hop and oldies, fronted by the charismatic Kristen Kwolek.
Probably best known to Smyrna-Clayton residents from their shows at Ocean City, Maryland or Dewey Beach, the band Kristen and the Noise will be visiting Smyrna Friday, Nov. 3.
The group will perform an 8:30 p.m. show at the Smyrna Opera House, 7 W. South St.
The band members’ experience headlining major events and Kristen’s unforgettable vocals and personality have earned them legions of loyal fans. Kristen and the Noise usually perform from New England to the Mid-Atlantic area, but the band has played nationwide from Los Angeles to Key West Florida, from Martha’s Vineyard to Salt Lake City, and even in Jamaica.
With members from the greater Philadelphia area, the band is led by Kristen Kwolek, one of the most electric and entertaining singers and stage performers in the country.
Her backing band is comprised of Pete Ahern on bass and vocals, Jordan Demarest on guitar and vocals, Chris Bones on drums, and Uriah Moore on keyboards. Not only do they back one of the most recognized singers on the East Coast, each member has established himself as a key component to the sound. So what started out as a catchy phrase to simply label “The Noise” behind the voice… the name is now represented by a team of individuals who have developed into a solid group of world-class players.
Kristen is known for her high-energy performances, but she’s also able to adapt and find a good balance of material for any type of occasion. She stands alone as a vocal talent and front person, and thrives in smaller settings where her personality can better connect with the audience.
The bands song range is nearly limitless with Kristen’s voice, and they cater to any type of crowd with Top 40 pop, rock, R&B, oldies, classics and hip-hop.
