The Smyrna Opera House is in desperate need of clean, clear plastic 2-liter soda bottles for an upcoming children’s program, with 100 bottles needed by March 29.
Bottles can be dropped off at the Opera House, 7 W. South Street, Tuesday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The bottles will be used for the Opera House’s children’s program called Easter Egg-Travaganza on Saturday, April 3. Children will have the unique opportunity to make a homemade terrarium and participate in an Easter egg hunt in historic auditorium.
Tickets for the event are $8 and are limited to the first 50 children. There is no charge for the adult accompanying the child. Tickets can be purchased by calling 302-653-4236, online at www.smyrnaoperahouse.org, or stopping by in person.
