CHURCH YARD SALE at Powerhouse Ministries, 115 E. Glenwood Avenue, Smyrna, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Table rentals: $20. Space rentals: $10. For reservations or more information, call 659-0645 extension 11, ask for Darlene. Most clothing items: buy one for $1, get one free.
CAR WASH at Hardee’s, Route 13, Smyrna, to benefit the Smyrna High School Regiment of Red Marching Band, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday 27. Donations accepted.
PARADE IN KENTON. In coordination with the Town of Kenton, the Kenton Ruritan Club is sponsoring a parade as part of the club’s 50th anniversary celebration. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the west end of town and travel east on Main Street (Route 300), right on Frazier Street, left on Commerce Street (Route 42), cross Main Street, left on High Street, finishing back at the Ruritan Club. Festivities will continue across from the Ruritan Club following the parade.
