Delaware Friends of Folk recently announved the lineup for the 19th Annual Delmarva Folk Festival on Friday, Oct. 1, and Saturday, Oct. 2, at Fields' Farm, 352 Downs Chapel Road, west of Clayton.
Friday, Oct. 1, features the culmination of the 2010 Delmarva Folk Hero contest, with the finalists each performing. Saturday acts include local favorites Tad Jones and the Harbortown Band, Bad Wheel Jonny and the Broke Spokes, Crabmeat Thompson, regional artists Stony Run String Band and Emily Pinkerton, national artists Jeff Warner, Blue Moose and the Unbuttoned Zippers and Roosevelt Dime, and the winner of the 2010 Delmarva Folk Hero Contest.
Friday tickets will be $5 at the door for all those ages 13 and older. Saturday tickets are $15 for members and $20 for non-members in advance. Day-of tickets are $25, half price for those 13 to 18, and free for children 12 and younger when accompanied by a paying adult.
