The Smyrna-Clayton July 4th Association is sponsoring the Sherwood Amusements Carnival at the Smyrna Municipal Park on North Main Street from Wednesday, July 1, through Saturday, July 4.
Carnival hours July 1-3 will be from 6 to 10 p.m., and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on July 4.
Unlimited ride bracelets will be available for $18 at the ticket booth on July 1 and 2. Ride bracelets entitle the purchaser to ride all evening for one price. Individual ride tickets may be purchased at the ticket booth on the carnival grounds.
Proceeds from the sale of carnival tickets will help raise money for the Fourth of July parade, festivities and fireworks.
The July 4th Association is planning another tremendous celebration beginning with the parade in Clayton at 9:30 a.m., followed by festivities at Municipal Park in Smyrna.
