Mélomanie returns to the Smyrna Opera House, 7 W. South St., Sunday, May 21 at 2 p.m. for an intimate afternoon of conversation and music, baroque and contemporary.

Mélomanie, which means “music mania,” presents provocative pairings of early and contemporary works in innovative chamber music collaborations with guest performers and composers.

Sunday’s concert will include Suite in A Major by Marin Marais, Prelude in D Minor by Carl Friedrich Abel, Civilisation by Mark Hagerty, Musicall Humors by Tobias Hume, Sonata in D Minor by Johannes Schenck, Fantasia in G Major by Georg Philipp Telemann and Sonata Circumdederunt Me by Mark Rimple.

Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for Opera House members, senior citizens and military personnel, and $8 for ages 12 and under.
