Event Saturday, Oct. 14 at Wright Municipal Park on North Main Street to benefit proposed Duck Creek Regional Library

The Friends of Duck Creek Regional Library will host the second annual Just Ducky Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 at Wright Municipal Park on North Main Street in Smyrna.

Admission is free.

The day will feature:

• magic and murder mysteries by Vince Wilson and Jeff Mudgett;

• music by D-Jay, Surreal Nation and Center Point Church Choir;

• inflatables from Lifehouse Church;

• Three Palms Petting Zoo;

• pony rides;

• arts and crafts;

• Smyrna Police K-9 demonstrations;

• fire truck and ambulance tours;

• kids’ foot races;

• make-your-own-scarecrow craft;

• pumpkin painting.

The Just Ducky Festival will also feature "Sample Smyrna," an opportunity to buy and taste samples of featured items from Smyrna restaurants.

Proceeds from the various activities benefit the Friends of the Duck Creek Regional Library, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building the new Duck Creek Regional Library.
