Local residents have a new option for tires and auto service and repair – Smyrna Tire & Auto on Rt. 13 south of Smyrna.
The business, which opened in January, sells new and used tires and offers a variety of automotive services, including tune ups and oil changes.
Truck accessories like bed liners, bed covers and step rails are also available.
“We try to treat the customers like ourselves,” said owner G.T. Starkey, of Galena, Md. “That’s been our philosophy from the start – good services at a reasonable price.”
“We’re not going to give you what you don’t need,” he added.
Smyrna Tire & Auto is located on Rt. 13, just south of the intersection with Carter Road, in a building that previously housed a tractor sales business.
The business has two full-time employees.
“We take a lot of customer feedback,” Starkey said. “It’s been positive, and I’m encouraged by that.”
