The program Saturday, Aug. 5 will be led by Kevin Karlson, co-author of “Birding by Impression” and “Bird of Prey.”

Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge near Smyrna is hosting the "Birding by Impression" outdoor field study and indoor workshop Saturday, Aug. 5 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The wildlife refuge is located at  2591 Whitehall Neck Road, five miles southeast of Smyrna, off of Route 9.

The program will be led by Kevin Karlson, co-author of “Birding by Impression” and “Bird of Prey.”

The outdoor field study on the wildlife drive will be from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

After a break for lunch on your own, a workshop will be held in the Visitors Center auditorium from 1:15 to 3 p.m.
