The Hummers Parade, a New Year's Day tradition in Middletown, rolled on despite a chilling temperature of about 20 degrees Monday.

The event, led by "Grand Marshal for Life" Jack Schreppler, spoofs current events, politicians and celebrities, and offers tributes to people who passed away in the previous year.

This year's floats saluted President Trump, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, Tiger Woods, road construction, global warming, the airline crew who dragged a passenger off an overbooked flight, and other memorable moments of 2017.
