The Word of Mouth Empowerment Network is giving away 150 Perdue oven stuffer roasters on Wednesday, Dec. 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at 17 North Main Street, Smyrna, next to Gentle Touch Family Dentistry. The chickens will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Word of Mouth is a non-profit organization based in Smyrna that offers services for youth and life skills development training for adults throughout the state.
The chicken give away was originally planned for Dec. 21 but was postponed because of snow.
