Joseph and Nancy Vodvarka of Smyrna announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Vodvarka, to Mark Massey, the son of Willard Massey of Townsend and Bonnie Collins of Marydel, Delaware.
The bride to be is a 2000 graduate of Smyrna High School and a 2005 graduate of Wilmington College with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She will be graduating from Wilmington University in January 2010 with a master’s degree in Literacy. She is currently employed with the Smyrna School District as a kindergarten teacher at Clayton Elementary.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Smyrna High School. He is currently employed by the State of Delaware with DNREC.
A July 25, 2009 wedding is planned.
