Ethan Charles was welcomed home by his big sister Brooke Elizabeth and his big brothers Jacob Henry and Marshall Thomas Dodd.
His maternal grandparents are Wanda and the late Charles Straughn of Clayton. His paternal grandparents are H. Lewis and Marilyn Dodd of Sudlersville, Maryland.
His great-grandparents are Joseph and Francis Dugan of Smyrna, the late Harvey and Viola Straughn of Townsend, George and Marilyn Wilson of Chestertown, Maryland, and Thomas and the late Myrtle Dodd of Centreville, Maryland.
