Wayne and Jacquelyn Barton of Smyrna are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Barton, to Matthew Allabaugh, the son of John and Sherri Allabaugh of Townsend.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Smyrna High School. She will be graduating from the University of Delaware in January 2009 with her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a minor in leadership. In January, she will begin classes at Wilmington University for her master’s degree in special education.
Her fiancé is a 2005 graduate from Delcastle Technical High School. He is employed by the State of Delaware as a heavy equipment mechanic.
A fall 2009 wedding is planned.
