Have a skill that you teach? Are you new to the area and would like to return to teaching a program to area residents? Perhaps you have a program that you could provide, earn some extra money, and fulfill a desire to pass along your experience and expertise.
St. Joseph’s Center for Community Service seeks instructors in a variety of areas for a broad expansion of its offerings at the Clayton campus.
St. Joseph’s is looking for instructors for the spring and summer terms to teach line dancing, basket making, aerobics, other sports and recreational activities, and hobbies. There’s a need for tots’ and toddlers’ programs, youth basketball, and activities for stay-at-home-moms. Perhaps you teach art or music and would like to reach out to other audiences. We have the room, if you have the expertise.
Programs will be administered by St. Joseph’s and can be offered almost anytime, day or night, and can be for any age group, from toddlers to seniors. The Foundation has just completed a Market Study for the Smyrna-Clayton area which shows a need for many, many services and programs.
Population in the Smyrna Clayton area has boomed in recent years, but services have not kept up. There are many classes and activities available in Dover or Middletown, that are not in the Smyrna-Clayton area, where the demand is great. Even if you have never taught a class before, but would like to get started, please contact us to discuss your idea.
For more information on instructing, call St. Joseph’s Marketing Director Brigitte Gavas at (302) 653-8814 or email to bgavas@saintjosephscenter.org. St. Joseph’s Center for Community Service has tens of thousands of square feet of space for programs which serve the Smyrna-Clayton area.
Currently, St. Joseph’s is hosting Jazzercise, healthy cooking, Pilates, Latin Impact, astronomy, and much more.
