Gov.-elect John Carney recently announced his nominations to lead two additional cabinet agencies when he takes office.
Nominations included Rick Geisenberger, secretary, Department of Finance; and James Collins, chief information officer, Department of Technology and Information.
Geisenberger is currently Delaware’s chief deputy secretary of state, where he manages and markets the Division of Corporations. Collins previously served as deputy secretary of state and deputy chief of staff to Gov. Jack Markell.
Nominations to the governor’s cabinet must be confirmed by the Delaware Senate.
